From 1st April 2024, Luxair will launch a new service between Manchester Airport and Luxembourg. The strategic expansion is set to benefit both business and leisure travellers, offering a seamless link between two dynamic regions.
Luxair's new service will connect the UK's northern powerhouse with Luxembourg's strong international markets, including the European Court of Justice and the European Investment Bank.
The route will open with three weekly flights from MAN to LUX on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with the new times as follows;
Mondays & Wednesdays:
11:50 MAN > 14:45 LUX
10:20 LUX > 11:10 MAN
Fridays:
11:55 MAN > 13:50 LUX
09:25 LUX > 10:15 MAN
The new route follows the launch of six flights per week between London City Airport and Antwerp in January this year. The schedule includes double daily flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays to suit the business traveller.
Antwerp is a port city with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. The city is famous for the diamond industry and the Flemish Renaissance architecture. The destination is perfect for a short break where travellers can explore the works of Reubens and Van Dyjk in the local museums and cathedral.
